PC Jeweller Shares Rise After Debt-Free Status and Revenue Growth

PC Jeweller said its sales revenue grew about 28% in the second quarter compared with a year earlier.

The company also said it had paid back all its outstanding bank debt during the September quarter.

It completed those payments before the scheduled dates.

The company said it had owed money to 14 banks.

It also received ₹142 crore from customers who owed money for exports.

PC Jeweller expects having no bank debt to reduce future interest costs.

After the update, its shares rose more than 7% on Thursday, 8 October.

A technical analyst said the share price might move towards ₹15, while around ₹13 could provide support.
