ICC Sticks with Andy Pycroft for India-Pakistan Game
The ICC is keeping Andy Pycroft as the referee for the India vs. Pakistan cricket match.
The Pakistan team wanted him removed, but the ICC refused.
This is because Pycroft was also the referee in a previous match where the Indian team did not shake hands with the Pakistan team.
The PCB believed Pycroft didn't follow the 'Spirit of the Game', which the ICC disagreed with.
Pycroft regretted a miscommunication, and the ICC is sticking to its decision.
Andy Pycroft will be the match referee for the India-Pakistan game.
The PCB requested the ICC to remove Pycroft.
The ICC rejected the PCB's request.
Pycroft was also the referee during a handshake controversy.
The ICC does not want to set a precedent by removing him.
