Addanki Dayakar Credits Sonia Gandhi, Attacks BRS Leadership
Addanki Dayakar is a Congress leader who criticized the BRS leadership.
He said Telangana was created because of the efforts of many statehood activists, not just one person.
He also gave Sonia Gandhi credit for helping Telangana become a state.
This opposed claims by KT Rama Rao that K Chandrashekar Rao achieved statehood by risking his life.
Dayakar said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is challenging the political power of K Chandrashekar Rao’s family.
He accused the former BRS government of not keeping promises to Dalits and statehood supporters.
He also alleged that some opposition leaders took government land and built up unexplained wealth.
The BRS has rejected all allegations of wrongdoing, and related legal proceedings are still pending.
Addanki Dayakar said Telangana’s identity belongs to statehood movement martyrs, not one political leader.
He credited Sonia Gandhi’s intervention with helping secure Telangana statehood and rejected KT Rama Rao’s claims about K Chandrashekar Rao.
Dayakar said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s planned visits could challenge the Kalvakuntla family’s political influence.
He accused the previous BRS government of failing Dalits and statehood activists, including over promised three-acre land parcels.
Dayakar alleged land encroachments and unexplained assets involving BRS leaders, while BRS rejected all allegations of wrongdoing.
