Coal India Chief Calls for Business Overhaul Amid Energy Shift
Coal India's new boss, Sanoj Kr Jha, says the company needs to change how it does things to keep up with the world.
He explained that coal isn't the only way to get energy anymore, as renewable sources like solar and wind are becoming more important.
Jha wants to change their old ways of working and focus on new ideas.
This includes exploring other businesses like solar and wind power, digging coal from underground more efficiently, and using better technology for moving coal.
He also mentioned that Coal India will continue to be sustainable by planting trees and helping the environment.
Even though they are changing, Coal India still provides a lot of India's energy and has grown a lot since it started.
Coal India Limited (CIL) Chairman Sanoj Kr Jha has called for a significant overhaul of the company's business model and systems.
The company must adapt to the global shift towards renewable energy to remain relevant.
