Vaishnavi Sharma Debuts for Mumbai Indians

Vaishnavi Sharma, a young cricket player, has joined the Mumbai Indians team for the rest of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026.

She replaces G Kamalini, who got hurt and can't play anymore.

Vaishnavi was not picked in the big auction but was later chosen by the team for Rs 30 lakh.

She has already played for India in a series against Sri Lanka, where she took five wickets.

This is a great opportunity for her to show her skills in the WPL.

Meanwhile, Deeya Yadav, a 16-year-old batter, made her debut for Delhi Capitals, becoming the youngest player in WPL history.

She was praised by her captain Jemimah Rodrigues for her ability to hit the ball hard.

Both teams are playing in Vadodara, and the match is important for their standings in the tournament.
