Delhi Zoo Plans One-Day Animal Adoption Program
The Delhi Zoo wants to let people adopt animals for just one day!
Right now, you have to adopt for a whole year.
They want to make it easier and cheaper.
You'll pay a small fee, maybe Rs 100 to Rs 500 for a day, and that money helps feed and care for the animals.
It's not like taking the animal home, but it's a way to support the zoo.
They hope more people will join in.
Delhi Zoo proposes a one-day animal adoption scheme to broaden public participation.
The scheme aims to offer more flexible adoption durations, including daily options.
Adoption fees will range from Rs 100 to Rs 500 for a day.
Adoption money contributes to animal care, food, and medical needs.
The current program requires a one-year commitment with varied fees.
