IMA JDN MP Seeks ₹30,000 Stipend for MBBS Interns
The Indian Medical Association - Junior Doctors Network (IMA JDN) in Madhya Pradesh is asking the state government to increase the monthly stipend for MBBS interns from ₹14,337 to ₹30,000.
They say the current amount is not enough because the interns work very long hours, sometimes up to 36 hours straight, and the cost of living is going up.
The IMA JDN wants the government to meet with intern representatives to solve this problem quickly.
They have been asking for this change in a peaceful way for a while now.
