BLOs Allegedly Inflate Enumeration Forms in Hyderabad Election
In Hyderabad, some election workers called BLOs are accused of filling voter forms that people never filled themselves.
This is to make it look like more people are registered online.
Both the BJP and Congress said this to the Election Commission.
A Congress leader said the workers were under pressure to meet targets.
Voters found their forms already filled, which is not allowed.
BLOs in Hyderabad allegedly filled unclaimed voter forms to boost digitisation metrics.
BJP and Congress both lodged complaints with the Election Commission of India.
Voters who had not submitted forms discovered theirs already filled by BLOs.
