UP Cop Alleges Dowry Harassment, Assault by In-Laws
A policewoman in Uttar Pradesh said her husband and in-laws were mean to her.
They wanted more money and nice things after her wedding.
When she couldn't give them what they wanted, they hurt her and made her drink something that made her very sick.
She also said her brother-in-law did something very bad to her.
The police are now looking into what happened.

She claimed they forced her to drink sanitiser, leading to hospitalization.
The incident occurred on September 5, 2024, after she saw her husband in an inappropriate situation with her sister-in-law.

She also accused her brother-in-law of rape, leading to a separate case being registered.
