MBBS Student Stuck in First Year for 10 Years
There is a student at a medical college in Gorakhpur who has been studying for over 10 years but has not been able to pass the first year of his MBBS course.
The student has not taken any exams or done any school work since 2015.
He has been living in the college hostel all this time.
The college has tried to talk to the student and his father, but they have not been very helpful.
The college is now asking a bigger organization, the National Medical Commission, for help to figure out what to do.
The student is still officially a student, so the college cannot make him leave the hostel.
The college is also having trouble because the student is not paying for his meals but is still getting free food and a place to stay.
The college is waiting for instructions from the NMC to make a final decision.
