Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Giants in WPL Eliminator

The Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Giants are playing in the Women's Premier League (WPL) eliminator.

The Delhi Capitals have been consistent in reaching the playoffs for all four seasons but have been runners-up in the first three editions.

They have had a mixed season with four wins and four losses.

Their bowling has been strong, led by Nandani Sharma, who has taken 14 wickets, and supported by Shree Charani and Marizanne Kapp.

With the bat, Laura Wolvaardt and Lizelle Lee have been solid, but Shafali Verma has been inconsistent.

The Gujarat Giants are on a roll with three consecutive wins, including a victory over the defending champions Mumbai Indians.

They have beaten Delhi Capitals twice this season, with Sophie Devine playing a crucial role.

Devine has been the tournament's leading wicket-taker with 17 wickets and has also scored 237 runs.

The Giants are hoping for key contributions from Beth Mooney and Ashleigh Gardner.

The winner of this match will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final on February 5.
