Doval: India's Tolerance Should Not Be Mistaken for Weakness
India has an important advisor named Ajit Doval who helps keep the country safe.
He said that India is a kind and patient country, but being kind does not mean India is weak.
India can be brave and strong when it needs to be.
He was talking about a military mission called Operation Sindoor.
The mission started because there was a very bad attack on people in a place called Pahalgam.
The mission's goal was to stop the people who planned the attack by destroying their camps.
The fighting lasted almost 88 hours before it stopped.
Mr. Doval tells his story in a new TV show called 'Declassified: Operation Sindoor.'
The show will be on Discovery TV and the discovery+ streaming service.
In his first interview since Operation Sindoor, NSA Ajit Doval said India's tolerance and generosity should not be mistaken for weakness.
Doval said the operation's objective was to destroy enemy camps, particularly those responsible for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
Operation Sindoor was launched early on May 7 last year with precision strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Pakistan later launched offensives against India, and the nearly 88-hour conflict halted on the evening of May 10 after an understanding was reached.
The two-part docuseries 'Declassified: Operation Sindoor' premieres on August 15, 2026, from 9 pm to 11 pm on Discovery and discovery+.
