Klaasen aims to win trophies ahead of The Hundred final
A famous cricket player named Heinrich Klaasen used to play for South Africa's national team, but he stopped last year.
Now he plays for club teams in different countries.
His main goal is to win trophies with those teams.
This Sunday his team, the Manchester Super Giants, is playing in the big final of a tournament called The Hundred.
Their opponents are the Trent Rockets, who won the same final back in 2022.
Klaasen had a great year, scoring 624 runs in 15 games in a big tournament called the IPL.
Since he stopped playing international cricket, he has more time to rest between competitions.
He plays in leagues in India, England, South Africa, and other places around the world.
He says he loves batting against a bowler named Yuzvendra Chahal.
But he would rather avoid facing Arshdeep Singh, especially with the new ball at the start of an innings.
Heinrich Klaasen said winning trophies is his main goal after retiring from international cricket.
His Manchester Super Giants face 2022 champions Trent Rockets in The Hundred final on Sunday, a rematch of the 2022 final.
Klaasen scored 624 runs in 15 innings for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2026 and had a strong start to The Hundred.
He retired from international cricket in June 2025 and now plays across the IPL, The Hundred, SA20, ILT20, and the inaugural European T20 Premier League.
Klaasen said he loves facing Yuzvendra Chahal and would happily avoid Arshdeep Singh with the new ball.
