Nissan is bringing a new SUV called the Tekton to India in 2026.
It will be similar to the Renault Duster and will compete with other popular SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The Tekton will have a big screen, a fancy dashboard, and two engine options.
It will only have petrol engines at first, but there might be a hybrid version later.
A bigger version with seven seats is coming in 2027.
Nissan Tekton SUV to launch in India in June 2026, following the Renault Duster's reveal in February 2026.
The Tekton will compete with popular SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 19 lakh.
The SUV features a rugged design inspired by the Nissan Patrol, with a three-tone dashboard and advanced tech features.
Engine options include a 1.3-litre Turbo-Petrol and a 1.0-litre Turbo-Petrol, with no diesel option initially but a potential hybrid in the future.
