Army Chief Visits UAE, Sri Lanka

The Army Chief of India, Gen Upendra Dwivedi, is visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Sri Lanka from January 5 to 8, 2024.

He is going there to talk with important military leaders in both countries.

The goal of this visit is to make the military relationship between India and these countries stronger.

During his visit, he will be given a special honor guard and will meet with senior military leaders.

He will also visit important military places and talk to officers and soldiers.

This visit is important because it shows that India wants to work together more closely with its friends in the Indian Ocean Region and West Asia.
