IGNCA to host textile exhibition from Kapila Vatsyayan's collection

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) in New Delhi is going to have a special exhibition of beautiful fabrics.

These fabrics come from the personal collection of a famous arts scholar named Kapila Vatsyayan.

The exhibition is called 'Abhivyakti' and will show more than 50 different types of traditional Indian fabrics.

It will be open from December 29 to January 7.

On December 29, there will also be a special talk in memory of Kapila Vatsyayan.

The talk is called 'Aatmbodh se Vishvabodh,' which means 'From Self-Realisation to Universal Awareness.'

A man named Bhagyesh Jha will give this talk.

The exhibition is not just about showing fabrics; it's also about understanding how these fabrics tell stories about our culture and history.

It's a way to remember and honor the work of Kapila Vatsyayan.
