Netflix Keeps Jay Hoag On Board Amid Shareholder Pushback
Netflix, the streaming giant, decided to keep Jay Hoag on its board even though some shareholders didn't want him there.
He's been on the board since way back in 1999!
After a recent meeting, investors didn't give him a thumbs up.
This happened because a firm that advises investors thought he should leave, partly because he didn't go to many meetings last year.
But Netflix said he's still helpful and knows a lot about the company.
They also added a new person to the board, Ellie Mertz, who used to be the money boss at Airbnb.
