IIT Madras Launches New Programs in Chemistry, Engineering and EVs
IIT Madras, a big school in India, is starting some new courses.
They're offering programs like a Bachelor's in Chemistry and a Master's in Electric Vehicles.
These programs are designed to help students become leaders in their fields.
If you want to study chemistry, you'll need to take a special test.
If you are interested in electric vehicles, you'll need to take the GATE exam.
The school also offers programs to combine different fields of study.
The aim is to equip students with the skills to tackle tough problems in the real world, especially in areas like science, technology, and healthcare.
IIT Madras has introduced new undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the current academic year.
These include BS in Chemistry, B.Tech in Computational Engineering and Mechanics, B.Tech in instrumentation and Biomedical Engineering and M.Tech in Electric Vehicles.
Admissions for BS Chemistry are through the IISER aptitude test and for M.Tech in Electric Vehicles through GATE.
The B.Tech programs in Computational Engineering and Mechanics and instrumentation and Biomedical Engineering will use JEE.
The programs aim to prepare graduates for leadership roles addressing real-world challenges.
