The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, gave ₹2,000 to each of 9 crore farmers.
This is the 21st time this has happened.
He also encouraged farmers to use natural farming methods to protect the environment and their health.
Since the scheme started, over ₹4 lakh crore has been given to farmers.
