Supriya Sule Asks Railway Minister to Reinstate Train Service
Imagine a train that used to take people from Pune to Solapur, stopping at a place called Boribel.
Then, during a big event, like a sickness that kept everyone home, the train stopped running.
Now, people who live near Boribel have to find other ways to travel, which is hard.
A person in charge, Supriya Sule, is asking the railway boss to start the train again.
She also wants the train to stop at Boribel, like it used to, because it helps the people there.
Some people are so upset that they are refusing to eat to get the train service back.
NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule requested the Railway Administration to restart the Pune–Solapur passenger service.
The Pune-Solapur passenger train service was discontinued since the COVID-19 lockdown.
The train previously halted at Boribel station, causing inconvenience to commuters.
Local citizens have repeatedly appealed to the Railway department without resolution.
Residents have staged a hunger strike to reinstate the service.
