US Deploys F-15EX Fighters in Japan Amid China Tensions
The US is sending its newest and most advanced fighter jets, the F-15EX Eagles, to a base in Japan.
This is to show China that the US is ready to protect Taiwan and keep the peace in the area.
The F-15EX is a very capable plane with an excellent combat record and modern features.
The first few planes have arrived, and more are coming.
This move is happening because China's air force is growing quickly, and tensions are rising over Taiwan.
The US wants to make sure it can still control the skies if needed.
The US is deploying F-15EX Eagle fighter jets to Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan.
The deployment aims to counter Chinese aggression and reinforce US air dominance in the Indo-Pacific.
The F-15EX replaces the aging F-15C/D fleet and boasts a 104-0 kill record.
The first two F-15EX arrived on July 12 for training; 36 jets are expected by spring 2026.
The deployment is a response to rising tensions over Taiwan and China's expanding air force.
