Power Grid’s Order Pipeline Rises to ₹1.75 Lakh Crore
Power Grid is a company that builds and operates electricity transmission networks.
Its list of planned projects grew to ₹1.75 lakh crore by the end of the June quarter.
Most of these projects will be awarded through a competitive bidding process called TBCB.
The company also has projects awarded under a regulated tariff system.
Many new transmission projects are being considered or prepared for bidding.

Smart metering, data centres and battery energy storage projects together accounted for ₹4,200 crore.
Transmission projects worth ₹73,875 crore are under bidding, with another ₹45,000 crore expected to be floated.
Power Grid has set a capital expenditure target of ₹37,000 crore for FY27, supported by long-term transmission investment plans.
