Mangaluru Airport Conducts Bomb Threat Drill
Mangaluru International Airport had a practice drill to test how well they can handle a bomb threat.
They pretended there was a bag with explosives in the cargo area.
The security teams, like the CISF and local police, worked together to secure the area and follow their safety rules.
The drill was done without causing any problems for the regular airport activities.
After the drill, they talked about how well they did and how they can improve.
This helps them stay ready for real emergencies and keep the airport safe for everyone.
Mangaluru International Airport conducted an annual bomb threat mock exercise to evaluate security preparedness.
The drill involved a simulated abandoned bag suspected to contain explosives at the Integrated Cargo Terminal.
Multiple agencies, including CISF, Karnataka State Police, and Mangaluru City Police, participated in the exercise.
The drill tested response time, communication flow, and adherence to standard operating procedures without disrupting regular airport operations.
