UPSC Announces and Postpones 2026 Exam Schedules
The UPSC has announced that two important exams for joining the Indian Armed Forces, the NDA & NA (I) 2026 and CDS (I) 2026, will both be held on April 12, 2026.
The NDA exam is for people who want to join the Army, Navy, or Air Force, and it has two parts: Math and a test on general abilities.
The CDS exam is for graduates who want to join different military academies, and it includes tests on English, general knowledge, and basic math.
After the written exams, both groups of candidates will go through interviews and medical checks.
However, the UPSC has also postponed the release of the notifications for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2026 and the Indian Forest Service Examination 2026 due to administrative reasons.
The new release dates for these notifications will be announced soon on the official website upsc.gov.in.
