Schools Closed in South India
Tomorrow, schools in many places in South India will be closed.
This is because of a big storm called Cyclone Michuang, which is making the weather very bad.
Places like Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu, as well as parts of Kerala, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, might have school closures.
In Kerala, there are also holidays because of local elections.
And in Maharashtra, schools might be disrupted because teachers are on strike.
So, many students might have a day off from school!
Schools in several districts of Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Cuddalore, may remain closed due to Cyclone Michuang.
Kerala has declared public holidays this week due to local body polls, affecting school schedules.
Schools in Maharashtra may face disruptions due to a statewide teachers' strike.
The decision on school closures in other parts of South India, including Puducherry, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and southern interior Karnataka, is pending.
