Chennai Dams Reach Full Capacity After 27 Years
Three big dams that give water to Chennai are full for the first time in 27 years.
There are six dams in total, and they have a lot of water now.
This is because of the rains and a storm called Ditwah.
Last year, these dams had less water.
The water in these dams is very important for the people of Chennai to drink.
Three main dams supplying drinking water to Chennai reached full capacity after 27 years.
Six dams in total have 92.83% storage, with 12,273.40 mcft of water.
