Rahul Gandhi Acknowledges OBC Shortcomings, Praises Telangana Survey
Rahul Gandhi, a leader in the Congress party, said his party didn't do enough to help people in the OBC group, which made it easier for the BJP to gain support.
He really likes how Telangana is doing a survey to understand different groups of people.
He said the survey is an important tool to help people and could change how things are done.
He also mentioned that the Congress wants to change the rules about how people get help, but the government is stopping them.
The head of the Congress party, Kharge, wants to do these surveys in other states and get more support from different groups.
Rahul Gandhi admitted Congress's shortcomings in addressing OBC challenges in the last 10-15 years.
Gandhi stated this opened space for BJP.
He praised Telangana's caste survey as a milestone for social justice, a social, financial, economic and political tool.
Gandhi said the Congress aims to break the 50% reservation cap, which the Central government opposes.
