Indore Water Crisis: Court Questions State Handling

In Indore, a city in India, many people got very sick and at least 21 died because the water they drank was dirty.

The water got dirty because of a leak from a public toilet.

The court is asking why the government didn't stop this from happening.

They found that 51 out of 62 wells had dirty water with something called E. coli, which makes people sick.

The government said they fixed the problem by shutting down the dirty wells and giving water through tankers.

But some people are upset because the people in charge were just moved to different jobs instead of being punished.

The government also made a special group to look into what happened, but some people think this is just a way to avoid taking real action.
