Subhadeep Ghosh Named India’s New Fielding Coach for Team
India’s cricket team has a new fielding coach named Subhadeep Ghosh.
He used to play for Assam and Railways and has coached many teams.
He will work under the head coach, Gautam Gambhir.
The BCCI, which runs Indian cricket, decided not to keep the previous coach, T Dilip.
Ghosh is the first coach from a different background to join Gambhir’s staff.
Subhadeep Ghosh appointed as India’s new fielding coach, replacing T Dilip.
Ghosh, a former Assam and Railways player, will work under head coach Gautam Gambhir.
The BCCI chose not to renew Dilip’s contract.
Dilip had joined the coaching staff in 2021 and served under former head coach Rahul Dravid.
Ghosh is the first coach from a different setup to be hired by Gambhir.
