CBSE Opens Class 10 Post-Result Process; Dates, Fees Announced
The CBSE is a school education board that runs exams in India.
It has started a special post-result service for Class 10 students who took exams in 2026.
The service works in three steps.
First, students can ask for a scanned copy of their answer sheet for a fee.
They can then look at the copy carefully to compare their answers with the marking scheme.
Second, they can ask for verification of their marks, which checks for missed answers, totaling mistakes, or errors in the final score.
Third, they can ask for re-evaluation of questions they choose.
The new marks after re-evaluation are final, even if they go down, so students should review their answer books carefully before applying.
Everything must be done online within the given dates.
CBSE has launched post-result facilities for Class 10 students who appeared in the Main and Second Board Examinations 2026.
The process has three stages: obtain a scanned copy of the evaluated answer book, then apply for verification of marks and/or re-evaluation.
Scanned copy applications run August 5-9 at Rs 300 per subject; verification and re-evaluation applications run August 16-19, though one report's headline cited August 14.
Verification costs Rs 300 per answer book and re-evaluation Rs 100 per question; all applications and payments must be made online, with offline requests not accepted.
Revised marks are final and binding, fees are refunded if marks increase, and students must surrender their existing certificate if their marks change.
