US Economy Grows 4.3% in Q3 2025
The US economy grew really fast in the third quarter of 2025, at a rate of 4.3%.
This is the fastest growth in two years.
People were spending a lot of money on goods and services, and the government was also spending more.
The country sold more things to other countries, which helped the economy grow even more.
However, prices for things are still going up faster than the people in charge of the money (the Federal Reserve) would like.
They are trying to control this by raising interest rates.
Even though the economy is growing, finding jobs is getting a bit harder, and the number of new jobs being created has slowed down.
Overall, the economy is doing well, but there are some challenges ahead.
The US economy grew at a 4.3% annual rate in Q3 2025, the fastest pace in two years.
Consumer spending rose by 3.5%, accounting for about 70% of economic activity.
Exports grew at an 8.8% rate, while imports fell by 4.7%.
Inflation, as measured by the PCE index, increased to 2.8%, above the Federal Reserve's 2% target.
The unemployment rate rose to 4.6% in November 2025, with job growth slowing down.
