Trump Rules Out US Diesel Export Ban as Europe Adds Supply

Donald Trump said the United States would not stop diesel from being exported.

He said he had asked European countries to make more diesel available.

Trump said Europe agreed to put more fuel into the market.

He expects oil prices to fall when the conflict involving Iran ends.

Separately, the Group of Seven agreed to release oil and fuel products over four months.

The release is being coordinated through the International Energy Agency.

The G7 said a substantial amount of diesel would be released in the first 20 days.

The agency said diesel supplies were still under pressure and refined fuel shipments remained limited.
