They won a total of 20 medals, which includes 9 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze medals.

The shooters did especially well, winning 16 of those medals.

Amit Shah and Narendra Modi, who are important leaders in India, congratulated the team on social media for their amazing performance.

Other famous athletes like Avani Lekhara and Manu Bhaker also praised the team and said they were proud of them.

The Deaflympics is a special sports event for athletes who are deaf or hard of hearing.

It's a big deal because it shows how talented these athletes are, even though they have a disability.

The government is also helping by organizing events like the Khelo India University Games to support young athletes.

This event happened in November 2025, and it's a great example of how people can achieve great things with dedication and effort.
