Police Trace Aamir Khan Threats to Sweden and Canada
Mumbai police found that some people sent scary messages to actor Aamir Khan from Sweden and Canada.
They used a special internet tool called Tor to hide who they were.
The messages said Khan was spreading a bad idea called “love jihad” and that he would be punished.
The people who sent the messages said they were part of a gang led by a man named Lawrence Bishnoi.
The police are still looking for the real people, but no official complaint has been made yet.
Mumbai police traced online threats against actor Aamir Khan to IP addresses in Sweden and Canada.
Threats were sent via voice notes and Facebook posts by users claiming to represent gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The messages targeted Khan after his July 5 private marriage to Gauri Spratt, accusing him of promoting “love jihad” and attacking Indian culture.
Perpetrators used a Swedish server network and the Tor browser to hide their identities.
