Google Enhances Gmail with AI Features

Google Enhances Gmail with AI Features

Google is adding new AI features to Gmail to make it work like a personal assistant.

These features include a tool called 'Help Me Write' that helps you write emails, a smart search that answers questions from your emails, and a feature called 'AI Inbox' that suggests tasks and reminders.

Additionally, there's a proofread feature to help with writing.

These tools are powered by Google's latest AI model, Gemini 3.

At first, these features will only be available in English in the United States, but Google plans to expand them to other countries and languages later this year.

Google also promises that the AI will not use your email content to train its models and has put in place privacy measures to keep your information safe.

The traditional inbox will still be available, and users can toggle between the new AI features and the traditional inbox as they please.
