MP High Court Issues Notice on Recruitment Irregularities
The Madhya Pradesh High Court in Jabalpur has asked the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) and the state government to explain some problems in a job recruitment process.
A person named Nitin Kumar Meshram applied for a job as an Assistant Director (Technical) in the Department of Cottage & Rural Industry.
The MPPSC announced the results, but Nitin's name and marks were not shown.
Later, another person, Lakhan Singh Dohre, who got fewer marks, was selected from the same category as Nitin.
Nitin thinks this is unfair and asked the court to look into it.
The court has now asked the MPPSC, the government, and the selected candidate to explain what happened.

Petitioner Nitin Kumar Meshram challenged the constitutionality of the recruitment process, claiming arbitrariness and violation of norms.
Meshram applied under SC category but was placed in the UR waiting list with 74 marks, while a candidate with 53 marks was selected from the SC category.
The court has sought responses from the state government, MPPSC, and the selected candidate Lakhan Singh Dohre.
The matter was heard in the court of Justice Vishal Dhagat.
