Nalgonda-Owaisi Junction Corridor to Open by April
The city officials in Hyderabad are working on a big road project that will connect Nalgonda Crossroads to Owaisi Junction.
They checked the progress and found that 80% of the work is done.
The main part of the project is a long flyover that costs 620 crore to build.
The officials want to finish the remaining work quickly so that the road can be used by April.
They also need to get permission to change traffic routes during the final construction phase to avoid problems.
They are also working on getting land for smaller roads to make sure traffic flows smoothly once the big road is ready.
The Nalgonda Crossroads to Owaisi Junction corridor is expected to be operational by April.
80% of the project, including a 2,530-metre-long flyover, has been completed at an estimated cost of 620 crore.
GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected the progress and instructed officials to expedite the remaining works.
Necessary traffic diversion permissions for the Saidabad-Dhobighat Junction stretch are being obtained to avoid interruptions.
Officials were directed to complete land acquisition for service roads to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
