UP Residential Schools Boost Girls' NEET Success
In Uttar Pradesh, India, there are special schools called Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalayas.
These schools help girls from poor families get a good education and prepare for tough exams like NEET.
Recently, 34 girls got free coaching, and 18 of them passed the NEET exam.
To join these schools, you must live in Uttar Pradesh and your family's income must be less than Rs 2.5 lakh per year.
The schools have special classes, computers, and sports to help the students.
There are 103 such schools now, and 20 more are being built.
The goal is to help these girls do well in their studies and exams.
34 girls from economically weaker sections received free residential coaching for NEET at Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya, Marihan, Mirzapur.
18 out of 31 girls who appeared for the NEET exam qualified.
Eligibility for admission includes being a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh with a family income not exceeding Rs 2.5 lakh annually.
Seats are reserved: 60% for SC/ST, 25% for OBC, and 15% for General Category.
103 Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalayas are operational, with 20 more under construction, offering free residential education from Classes 6 to 12.
