CERT-In Warns macOS and Chrome Users of Security Risks
CERT-In, India's cyber security agency, has warned users of macOS and Google Chrome about serious security problems.
These problems can let bad people steal your data or take control of your computer if you don't update your software.
The issues are in Apple's Pages and Keynote apps, and in Google Chrome's Background Fetch API.
Apple and Google have already fixed these problems in their latest updates.
CERT-In says everyone should update their software as soon as possible to stay safe.
CERT-In issued advisories about serious vulnerabilities in macOS and Google Chrome.
Apple's Pages and Keynote apps have flaws that could allow data theft if users open malicious files.
Google Chrome has a high-severity flaw in its Background Fetch API that could enable remote code execution.
Apple and Google have released updates to fix these vulnerabilities.
Users are urged to install the latest updates to reduce the risk of unauthorized access and information exposure.
