A young cricket player named Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is getting ready for a new season.

Even though he is still a teenager, he is already a star.

He shared a video on Instagram of himself practicing very hard.

He said his practice was "preparation."

Vaibhav did very well on a recent trip to Zimbabwe.

He scored more runs than anyone else on his team there.

He won a special award called Player of the Series.

Earlier, he became the youngest person ever to play international cricket for India, at just 15 years old.

That broke a record held by the famous player Sachin Tendulkar.

Now he has been picked as vice-captain of his team for the Duleep Trophy, a big Indian tournament starting August 23.
