President Murmu Visits Hyderabad for Winter Sojourn
President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Hyderabad on December 17 for a five-day winter sojourn.
She was welcomed by the Telangana Governor, Deputy Chief Minister, and other officials.
During her stay, she will inaugurate a national conference for public service commission chairpersons and address a conference on the timeless wisdom of India.
The Rashtrapati Nilayam, where she is staying, is a historic building that symbolizes the unity of India's diverse cultures.
It was built in 1860 and has 11 rooms and various facilities.
Meanwhile, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat met Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan in New Delhi.
The Vice President will also visit Hyderabad on December 20 to attend the valedictory session of the National Conference of Chairpersons of State Public Service Commissions and participate in World Meditation Day celebrations on December 21.
