Student Leader Threatens CM Residence Protest Over Jharkhand Exam Cases

Some students in Jharkhand are unhappy about cancelled recruitment exams and appointments.

Student leader Devendra Nath Mahto says the state government is not defending the related court cases strongly enough.

The Jharkhand High Court has temporarily stopped some cancellation orders.

These include appointments for Child Development Project Officers and JSSC-CGL recruits.

The court also stopped cancellations linked to two JPSC exams and food safety officers.

Mahto says the recruitment system has problems involving corruption and irregularities.

His group plans to travel through all 24 districts starting August 24.

He says supporters may surround the chief minister’s residence if the government does not present its case properly on September 15.
