Woman Saves
A woman named Rebecca Kuritz saw a picture of a dog named Zev online.
Zev was very sick and had been in a shelter for a long time.
The shelter said he was unadoptable and was going to be put to sleep.
Rebecca decided to help Zev and adopted him.
Even though Zev was scared and needed a lot of care, Rebecca gave him a loving home.
Zev is now happy and healthy, and Rebecca is very glad she saved him.
She has also helped other dogs in the past.
Rebecca Kuritz, a photographer from San Diego, adopted a dog named Zev who was marked as unadoptable and was on the euthanasia list.
Zev was suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection and kennel cough and had been in medical isolation for over 30 days.
Kuritz collaborated with Stacy's Hope Rescue to adopt Zev and provide him with immediate treatment.
Zev was very thin, scared, and untrained when he was adopted, but he quickly adapted to his new home and showed signs of joy and life.
Kuritz has fostered six dogs in the past, many of them sick, injured, or behaviorally difficult, and her home is always busy with children, activities, and animals undergoing treatment.
