New Airports Win Top Honors In 2025 Most Beautiful List
Imagine a contest to see which airports are the prettiest!
Usually, an airport in Singapore wins, but this year, a new airport in China took the prize.
Other winners are located in France, Japan, and the USA.
These airports are special because of their cool designs, like the one in China that looks like a ship.
Some are green with eco-friendly designs, and some are inspired by nature.
Even the best airports need to keep getting better.
Prix Versailles committee released its 2025 list of the world's most beautiful airports.
Singapore's Changi Airport, previously a top-ranking airport, didn't make the list.
Yantai Penglai International Airport (China) won the top spot, inspired by maritime history.
Other airports recognized include Marseille Provence Airport (France), Roland Garros Airport (Réunion Island), Kansai International Airport (Japan), Portland International Airport (USA), and San Francisco International Airport (USA).
The new list highlights a global competition in airport architecture, design and sustainability.
