Maharashtra FDA Chief Tells Quick-Commerce Buyers: Report Undated Products

Tukaram Mundhe is a very important government officer in Maharashtra, a state in India.

His job is to make sure the food people buy is safe.

He told people who order from fast-delivery apps to tell his office if a product doesn't show when it was made.

When a product has no manufacturing date, customers can just report it.

He started this job on May 25.

Since then, his teams have been checking restaurants, dairies, warehouses, and the small storerooms that deliver things quickly.

Mr. Mundhe has been given about 25 different jobs in more than 20 years of working for the government.

People like him a lot.

At a recent event in Pune, everyone stood up and clapped for him.

A video of him was shared online with the title "Unstoppable Tukaram," and some supporters call him the "Singham" of the bureaucracy.
