Odisha, Meghalaya sign pact for early childhood care
Two states in India, Odisha and Meghalaya, have agreed to work together to help young children.
They will share ideas and learn from each other to make sure children get good food, stay healthy, and learn well.
They will also work with communities and make their programs better.
Odisha will share its experience in working with local communities, and Meghalaya will share its creative ways of helping people in hard-to-reach areas.
This will help both states do a better job of taking care of young children.
Odisha and Meghalaya signed an agreement to strengthen early childhood care, education, and development.
The pact focuses on nutrition, health, early learning, responsive caregiving, community engagement, and institutional capacity building.
The agreement provides a framework for knowledge exchange, joint research, exposure visits, and capacity development.
Odisha will share its experience in community-based initiatives, while Meghalaya will share its innovative approaches in tribal and challenging contexts.
