PIA Resumes UK Flights After Five-Year Ban
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is flying to the UK again after a five-year break.
The ban was due to some pilots having fake licenses.
The first flight from Islamabad went to Manchester with 284 passengers.
High-ranking officials were at the airport to see the flight off.
The Defense Minister said this would strengthen ties and improve travel for the 1.6 million Pakistanis in Britain.
Initially, there will be two weekly flights, with plans to expand to London and Birmingham later.
The ban's lift came as the airline is working to become private.

The resumption followed a five-year ban due to a fake pilot license scandal.
