BJP Holds Manipur MLAs Meeting in Delhi
The BJP held a meeting with its legislators from Manipur in Delhi.
Most of the MLAs attended, and they talked about how to bring peace back to Manipur.
The state has been having a lot of trouble with fighting between two groups, the Meiteis and the Kuki-Zos.
The BJP says they want to make sure people can move safely between the hill and valley areas.
The Congress party made fun of the meeting, saying the BJP is just trying to cover up their mistakes.
Meanwhile, there was a shooting in Bishnupur district, which is a Meitei-majority area next to a Kuki-Zo majority area.
One person was injured.
More than 260 people have been killed, and over 60,000 have had to leave their homes.
The state is under President's rule, but things are still not back to normal.
BJP held a meeting with 34 of its 37 Manipur MLAs in Delhi to discuss peace and development.
The meeting focused on restoring peace and enabling free movement between hill and valley regions.
Central leaders held separate interactions with Meitei and Kuki-Zo MLAs before a joint discussion.
Manipur Congress president criticized the meeting as a 'crash course' to justify administrative failures.
A firing incident in Bishnupur district left one injured, escalating tensions in the restive state.
