The Adani Group and a company from Bhutan called Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC) have started building a big hydroelectric power plant called the Wangchhu project.

It will make 570 MW of electricity, which is a lot of power!

The project will cost about Rs 60 billion and should be finished in five years.

Bhutan's government owns a bigger share (51%) than Adani Group (49%).

This is part of a bigger plan to build even more hydroelectric power plants in Bhutan, totaling 5,000 MW.

The leaders of both companies and Bhutan's Prime Minister were there to celebrate the start of this project.

They want this project to be good for the environment and help both countries work together for a long time.

Gautam Adani, the chairman of Adani Group, said they are very happy to be part of this project and will continue to work with Bhutan in a way that is good for the environment and builds trust.
