Ali and Kashyap Team Up for Short Film Bobby Beauty Parlour
Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Kashyap, two famous Indian movie makers, are working together on a short film called "Bobby Beauty Parlour."
The film shows two best friends, Eelu and Manu, spending their last afternoon together in a beauty parlor.
It is directed by Shashwat Dwivedi and produced by Janhavi Asthana and Ranjan Singh.
The movie will be shown on YouTube at midnight on August 6.
Ali says the film reminds him of his own small‑town childhood, while Kashyap says it is a simple story about friendship and growing up.
The short has already been shown at festivals around the world and will be part of Friendship Week celebrations.
